Globalization Vs Indianization

The common buzzword doing the corners these days is the term Globalization. Now let me start by defining what Globalization means. The Oxford says "To extend to other or all parts of the globe".
In the age of inernet, GPS and all the dashy gizmos no doubt the world has become a smaller place. A place where information can be send and recieved in seconds.
Sites like orkut, hi5 and the chatting sites has given a new dimensions to the term where you can make friends in any Goddam place on this earth. Now distance is no more a problem. You can communicate with any person with the greatest ease that you can ever imagined.
But are we Global in true sense? I feel in order to be truely Global one needs to be a true Indian first. Now the big question arise. Are we true Indian in all respects?
No matter India is a land of thousand cultures and castes where thousand of languages are spoken everyday. But the biggest irony is what these cultures has given us.
Hatred, Harmony, people form one community doesn't like to talk to the others, marriages between inter caste is prohibited, where riots are possible at a blink of an eye.
And the persons who defies these laws are beaten to death or put to shame by their own families and are disowned.
The recent case of sindhi girl marrying a muslim guy or a case of bride and groom of two different communities in Haryana tying the knot. The day to day demonstrations done by so called GODS-Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena and so on publicising hatred against other communities. The list goes endless and news like these flashes every week on our TV sets boasting about our INDIANESS
Bieng born and brought up in Northern India, I did my engineering in Tamil Nadu and now working in Bangalore. I was always looked by suspicion because of my colour. The people didn't used to like people speaking Hindi. I mean what sort of INDIANESS is this? And our politicians talk about "Right to equality". Now I don't want to go into all this. It needs another huge debate.
My personal experience says these Castes, Communities and culture has done no good but has tarnished the country or my called INDIANESS into bits.
In the end I'll just infer that in order to be a true Global citizen and enjoying their benefits one must overcome all the pathetic religious and community issues.

Well the rest is others to decide!!...
